Martijn (1976) completed his law studies (civil law) at Tilburg University in 2000 and was sworn in as a lawyer in 2001. During his studies, he was mainly interested in corporate law and insolvency law, and he also specialized as a lawyer in these areas of law.
Martijn's practice consists of advising companies, assessing and drawing up commercial contracts and working in banking, financing and litigation.
Martijn frequently acts as a trustee in bankruptcies and as an administrator in moratoriums. In that context he has followed and successfully completed a number of postgraduate specialization courses since 2004, such as the specialization course Insolvency Law at the Grotius Academy and the business economics course Financial Economics for insolvency lawyers at Erasmus University in Rotterdam.
He is a member of INSOLAD and INSOL International, specialist associations in the field of insolvency law.
